Excellent early work from Cameo! The album's got a really sublime approach – tightly funking, but not too fast, in the mode of some of their weaker 80s material. The band have that tightly snapped groove firmly in place – as you'd already know if you've heard the album's classic sample cuts, "Rigor Mortis" and "Post Mortem". Other cuts include "Funk, Funk", "Find My Way", and "Good Times" – and the record's one of the best of the bunch from this period! (Cover has some wear annd some staining, with a lot peeling along the bottom two to four inches on the front and back.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Oh Girl
Atlantic, 1972. Very Good-
Wicked electric funk from Young Holt Unlimited – and a real departure from the sound of their 60s albums, and a step into a groove that's very 70s-styled overall! The album's heavy on Fender Rhodes – played not just by group member Ken Chaney, but also by a young Bobby Lyle – ... LP, Vinyl record album
