Compared To What/Blues For The New World
7-inch (Item 585935) Tramp (Germany), 1970s — Condition: New Copy
Jazzy dancefloor grooves from the early 70 – a funky gem sung by Anita Moore on one side and a slinkier, bluesier funky cut by Arnett Cobb on the flip – both backed by the TSU Jazz Ensemble! Both tracks dabble in funky drums, and the horns are pretty funky on Anita's "Compared To What" – with a terse rhythm and all around incomparable groove. "Blues For The New World" starts as a jazzy blues style, but a funky guitar groove slinks in as it rolls along. Great stuff issued by Tramp! (Limited edition.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
