Disko Folk
CD (Item 600725) Guerssen (Spain), 1979 — Condition: New Copy
Turkish electro folk from late 70s Germany! Derdiyoklar Ikilisi is the duo of singer, saz and guitar player Ali Ekber Aydogan and drummer & singer Ihsan Guvercin – delivering hypnotic and melodic music here that are steeped in traditional Turkish music, though played with a late 70s western music eccentricities. Repetitive rhythms and melodies blend with synths, percussion and echo. The vocals are really nice in the set, and there's an easy going, disco era vibe at play. Wild, but accessible sounds! Titles include "Yadoy", "Alman Marii", "Fethiyem", "Halay", "Sofor Gardas", "Eminem", "Ata Sozleri", "Dervis Emmi", "Karadeniz Turkusu". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
