The complete series of singles singer BJ Thomas cut for Scepter from the 1966 to 1972 – a pretty great overview that not only serves as a terrific anthology – it also shows the depth of styles managed to cover with resounding creative success, whether the singles charted or not! BJ is best remembered by the mainstream for the electric sitar-flavored pop treasure "Hooked On A Feeling" and inescapable "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" – but overall, his approach is a great combination of 60s pop, soul and cosmopolitan country – with down home charm anchoring his soaring voice. 46 tracks on 2CDs!
