CD (Item 627258) Yazoo, 1920s — Condition: New Copy

Vintage sounds galore – a huge collection of rare 78rpm recordings from the 20s – filled with the kind of rare blues and hillbilly styles you'd expect from the Yazoo label! The handsome package is a great reworking of the older Yazoo aesthetic – as the book-like package is nicely oversized – to accommodate a large 54 page booklet inside, with illustrations as striking as the cover! The sound quality is way better than the original records – and the set features work by Alex Hood & His Railroad Boys, Appalachia Vagabond, George Edgins Corn Dogers, Charlie Pool & The North Carolina Ramblers, Cartwright Brothers, Ashley's Melody Men, Ishman Bracey, Carver Boys, Blind Willie Johnson, Blind Blake, Charley Patton, Ernest Stoneman, and many others!  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
