Add Item to Want List
LP (Item 4604) Columbia, Early 60s -- Condition: Used

Tight record of earlier Cumbia stuff, recorded by Columbia as part of their great Latin series from the early 60's (when the Catskills market was big enough to make it worthwhile for major labels to put this stuff out). And although the liner notes claim that the Cumbia's great because you can also dance the Twist and Frug to it too, this is still the real deal, and Rivero's got a nice tight combo -- or should we say conjunto. Includes the tracks "Cumbia Del Sol", "La Cumbia", "La Media", "La Pollera Colora", "El Pescador", and others. (360 Sound stereo pressing. Vinyl has just a few light marks, and the cover is in great shape.)  © 1996-2009, Dusty Groove America, Inc.
