There's a really thoughtful sort of interplay going on here – careful choices of tenor and soprano sax tones by Noah Kaplan, fluid yet punctuated guitar passages by Joe Morris, subtle electric bass from Giacomo Merega, and sensitive drumming from Jason Nazary – all of which makes for a set of improvisations that are quite unique! The group definitely has a strong sense of freedom, but seems to really wait for each others intentions to come into focus – never boldly stepping too far forward as individuals, and instead building up these wonderful progressions of sound together as the tracks unfurl.
