Rare funky soul from Lonnie Lester! "You Can't Go" is a great one – a cut with tight beat chugging along at a good clip, breaking out to stop a bit on the hook, where Lonnie comes in with some funky soul grunts! The track also has some cool and strange bit of organ in the mix. "Ain't That A Shame" has a raw, rave-up soul groove with some nicely vamping guitars and horns in mix – and this one also has some nice back-up vocals.  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
