A sparkling batch of singles from the venerable Giant Step Records – assembled here for a great compilation! Giant Step is probably best known as a generator of pulsing club singles, which is certainly an accurate tag – but it's still given little props for the wealth of genuinely deep talent that they champion. Here's a nice testament – from the house-learned electronic soul of Amp Fiddler and Agent K, to the world beat funk of Zap Mama, to the hip hop/soul hybrid of Roots Manuva and Ty, there isn't a bad one in the bunch! 14 tracks including "OG Bitch" by Esthero, "Wait A Minute" by Ty & MPHO, "The Haunting" by Roots Manuva, "Refugee" by Oi Va Voi, "Confessions Of A Man" by Jiva, "I Believe in You" by Amp Fiddler, "Betcha Did" by Agent K and lots more! (Barcode has some marker.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
