Politik
CD (Item 464891) Milan, 2007 -- Condition: New Copy
An incredible collaboration between Mark De Clive-Lowe and Bembe Seque -- and a project that seems to soar even higher than any of their previous individual work! Politik have a righteously cosmic groove that's right in step with the 21st Century soul generation -- a post-4Hero vibe that's built from broken beats, jazzy keyboards, and snappingly soulful vocals -- the latter of which are sung by Bembe, the former of which are handled by Mark! The pair work together beautifully -- no surprise, given the strength of previous collaborations -- and the record's filled with amazing little tunes that sparkle beautifully throughout. The set features a few key guest appearances -- by Bahamadia, Waajeed, Daz-I-Kue, and others -- but the real genius here comes from the pair at the core, and our hats are off to them for such a wonderful little record! Titles include "Moonlight", "High Priestess", "Mistaken", "Money", "Sweet", "Saturn", "She's Gone", "Xtra Sensory", "Turn The Light", "Feel It", and "How Did They Know". © 1996-2010, Dusty Groove America, Inc. | ||||||
