The debut release by Honeymunch – a really great group from the current European underground, dedicated to performing club music with live instruments! The record's got the feel of work by Hipnosis, Sleepwalker, and a number of other recent groups who've been playing live jazz for the dancefloor crowd – and as such, it's bristling with inventiveness – at one level a set of funky jazz, but at another, done in a style that stretches and spaces things out, giving the whole album a lot more of an open-ended and futuristic feel! Titles include "Sheva", "Nord Lead", "Dobbins", "Orbit", "Burn", "Succo", "Solon", and "Cascara". (Out of print.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Soul Fire/Now Again, 2002. Used
