Sweet keyboard genius from the legendary Manfredo Fest – an early 70s effort that's got a really wonderful groove! The style here is a bit like some of the best CTI recordings during their early years with A&M – kind of an update of 60s bossa that features full, warm, jazzy orchestrations behind Manfredo's piano – giving him support with this rich blend of reeds and trombones, as the acoustic keys soar wonderfully over the top with amazing dexterity! The setting's every bit as great as the early Jobim records for CTI – and the recording quality equally wonderful too, thanks to producer Sonny Burke. Titles include "Bossa Rock Blues #1", "Amanda", "Madalena", "Hello Forever", and "Sleepy Shores". (Cover has a half split top seam and a tracklist sticker.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
