Heavy dancefloor grooves from Stax, featuring this one-time heavier funk group, now hitting a sound that's aimed a bit more at the clubs. There's lots of slap bass and electric keyboard riffs, and a good ensemble sound that's a bit in the P-Funk camp of things. Titles include "Get It Together", "Funkasize You", "Thinking Of You", "You Chose Me", "Steppin Out", and "I Live Across The Street". (Cover has an unglued top seam.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

There's a sense of freewheeling ... LP, Vinyl record album
