Force Of Nature
LP (Item 6235) Tommy/CBS, 1974 — Condition: Used
Funky soul from this obscure Philly combo! Force Of Nature have a sound that's a lot like Earth Wind & Fire – quite progressive, with lots of jazzy flourishes, and a spiritual message that's pushed with a crossover soul sound. The album seems to have been cut as a one-off Philly International side project – and it does have involvement from Dexter Wansel and Bunny Sigler, but the overall sound is quite different than the usual Philly groove. Tracks include the great mellow cut "Clouds", plus "Signs Of Our Time", "Dreams", "Simba", and "A Spear & A Feather". (Cover has some wear, a tracklist sticker, and another sticker.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
