Don't Mess With Me/Pimp Decisions
7-inch (Item 608283) GED Soul, 2012 — Condition: New Copy
A great old school slice of funk – with these call-response vocals between AJ and the band – all very much in a James Brown People Records mode! The groove here has a very People-styled sound, too – razor sharp drums that seem to snap all the other instruments into place, too – urged on strongly by the calls in the lead! "Pimp Decisions" is looser, but in a really groovy way – with wangly guitar over skittish drums, and this cool production on the vocals that make them sound kind of muddy and noisy! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
