7-inch (Item 544401) Timmion (Finland), 2010 — Condition: New Copy

A massive groove from Myron E – one of our favorite talents in the deep funk underground! "Pot Club" has a groove as dark as its title – kind of muddy at the bottom, which makes it a perfect match for the vocals – which have these slightly spacey quality, even though they're straightly soulful overall! There's plenty of punch at the bottom, much more so than you'd expect from such a pot-infused number – and production is by D, who we think is Didier – and if so, gives this cut some of his trademark messed-up funky touches!  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
