A great little session of vocal work from singer Carol Lawrence – co-produced by songwriter Tommy Wolf, and featuring some nice lesser-known tunes! Backings are by Harry Betts and Dick Hazard – with soloists that include Bud Shank, Milt Bernhardt, and Don Fagerquist – all working through arrangements that are extremely colorful, and often touched with their own sense of animation and life over and above the vocals by Carol. Titles include "I'm Gonna Wear Your Love", "There's A Lull In My Life", "Goodbye John", "Come Away With Me", "So It's Spring", "The Year Tuns Round", "I Wonder What's The Matter With Me", and "Tell Me Lies". (Cover has some wear, old tape on the seams, and some seam splitting.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
