LP (Item 513065) Jammy's/Pressure Sounds (UK), Early 80s — Condition: New Copy

The rare all dub album from Prince Jammy that surfaced on the Jammy's label in the early 80s – a top notch example of Jammy's incredible mixing style from the years before his dancehall treasures later on in the decade – given a top notch release by the always incredible Pressure Sounds label! Straight up excellent dub material produced, arranged and mixed by Prince Jammy – with the best of the best of the Kingston session musicians – including Robbie Shakespeare & Sly Dunbar on bass, Bobby Ellis on trumpet, Hedley Bennett on alto, Gladdy Anderson on piano, Ansel Collins on Winston Wright on organ and percussion by Uziah Thompson & Noel Simms. The dubs are incredible, and the Pressure Sounds tradition of informative notes and genuine appreciation for the material continues to amaze! Includes "Immigrant Dub", "Basement Dub", "Brooklyn Dub", "BQE Dub", "Interboro Dub", "Old Country Dub", "42nd Street Dub", "Bronx Fashion Dub" and "Strictly Dub".  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
