CD (Item 626795) Music Box (France), 1974 — Condition: New Copy

A great soundtrack from that wonderful period when Francois De Roubaix really discovered electronics – and started using them heavily in his already-mad music! The score is tremendous right from the start – touched with offbeat keyboards and cool little electronic touches amidst more conventional orchestrations – a bit off-balance, in a way that always keeps things interesting – just the kind of craziness we've come to expect from Francois! Lots of tunes are plenty playful – really groovy numbers, of the sort that nobody but De Roubaix could deliver – and titles include "Hubert Et Lilia", "Cap Au Large", "Titan", "Eve Et Hubert", "Lilia's Jerk", "Un Tank Pour L'Aventure", and "Le Village En Otage". (Limited to 1000 copies.)  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
