Live Jimi Hendrix – tearing it up on Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" at the Berkeley Community Theater in May of 1970 – plus a previously unreleased version of his own uber-classic "Purple Haze" at Winterland in '68! The '70 line up features Mitch Mitchell on drums and Billy Cox on bass and is included on 2011's Hendrix In The West live compilation, while the Winterland cut from 2 years earlier has Noel Redding on bass and is previously unreleased.
