Still In The Game
CD (Item 620043) Music Access, 2012 — Condition: New Copy
Lenny Williams – still in the game, and sounding great – with that unmistakably smooth approach that made his 70s material so wonderful! Williams is one of those singers who's always been mature, right from the start – so hearing him here, in his later years, the sound is almost even more of a fulfillment of the vibe of his famous records – recast slightly in some hip 21st Century arrangements that use keyboards in a really great way, and which bring in a few contemporary R&B flavors to the mix – yet never in ways that ever overwhelm Lenny's vocals. Titles include "This Is The One That Got Away", "Still", "Happy Man", "Stepping & Dancing", "Sunshine", "In My Mind", "Grown Man", "Make Love", and "I'm Sorry I Didn't Know It Was Your Mama". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
