Messed-up electronic rock from Trash Company – a group who really live up to their name with the noisy, grubby sounds in this set! The music is somewhere between dark post-punk work from the early 80s, and some of the lower-fi indie moments of the decade to follow – yet together, the tracks definitely have a really unique feel – almost as if Suicide recorded for K Records, or an aging Neu suddenly found themselves working in the Portland scene! Given the vintage of most of these cuts, and the overlooked locale in which they were recorded, the whole thing's a definite musical discovery – one with a feel that definitely lives up to the promise of our references here. Titles include "He's Only A Man", "She", "Little Black Bag", "Come To Me Softly", "No Regrets", "Electra Glide", "Ow", and "I'll Slide Away".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Now Again, Mid 70s. New Copy 2LP Gatefold (reissue)
The collected work of a mighty trippy group from the Indian scene – a psychedelic combo who worked in the 70s, but who had the same sort of edge you'd hear from the American and British scenes of the late 60s! In truth, there's a fair bit of Anglo influence going on in the music – not ... LP, Vinyl record album

Incredible! This album is a masterpiece of subtle rock beauty, and it's still one of our favorite albums of all time. After the onslaught of the band's second album, White Light/White Heat, the Velvets laid back, toned down, and turned out this fantastic album of wonderfully crafted little songs. ... Cotillion, 1970. New Copy (reissue)
The end of the road for the Velvets – but also one of the group's longest-lasting legacies! The sound is tighter than on earlier albums, with a bit more of a somber post-fix approach to rock and roll – one that really points towards the direction Lou Reed would take in his own work, ...
