Messed-up electronic rock from Trash Company – a group who really live up to their name with the noisy, grubby sounds in this set! The music is somewhere between dark post-punk work from the early 80s, and some of the lower-fi indie moments of the decade to follow – yet together, the tracks definitely have a really unique feel – almost as if Suicide recorded for K Records, or an aging Neu suddenly found themselves working in the Portland scene! Given the vintage of most of these cuts, and the overlooked locale in which they were recorded, the whole thing's a definite musical discovery – one with a feel that definitely lives up to the promise of our references here. Titles include "He's Only A Man", "She", "Little Black Bag", "Come To Me Softly", "No Regrets", "Electra Glide", "Ow", and "I'll Slide Away".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

A very groovy record from a very unique band – a homegrown set by an obscure Pennsylvania combo from the 70s – a group who were equally schooled in jazz fusion and progressive rock! Probe 10 are a rock group at their core, but they've also drank heavily from the brew of 70s Mahavishnu ... LP, Vinyl record album

Cool Christian psychedelic rock from the late 60s & early 70s – rare stuff from the period when the young in American were coming to fuzzed out rock & roll and resurgent Christianity – and this batch of grooves is praisworthy to say the least! One of the wildest records of the early 70s – and it's still pretty darn hard to argue with the power of this one – even if the meddling of the producers is nearly as legendary as the album itself! There's still such a manic energy to the original release mix – one that clearly ... LP, Vinyl record album

Sure, the cover's a bit dated – but the politics have stayed surprisingly strong over the years – as has the music as well! Lost legendary work from Guy Skornik – a heady set from early 70s France, and proof that there's a hell of a lot of greatness to discover on that scene! The twilight renaissance of Leonard Cohen continues on Popular Problems – which joins the preceding Old Ideas album up on the top shelf with some of his best work of the past couple decades!
