Phil Spector Presents The Philles Album Collection (7CD set)Various
CD (Item 585184) Philles/Legacy, Early 60s — Condition: New Copy
A motherlode of classic and rare Wall Of Sound material – a box set hard-to-find Philles Records releases from the early 60s – in a 7CD box set of peak Phil Spector production from the early 60s! The box set features 6 great original LPs, all of which feature essential songs, but the full albums have been frustratingly hard to find over the years. Those include the Twist Uptown, He's A Rebel and The Crystals Sing The Greatest Hits Vol 1 albums by The Crystals, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah by Bob B Soxx And The Blue Jeans, Philles Records Presents Today's Hits (with The Crystals, Bob B Soxx And The Blue Jeans, The Ronettes, Darlene Love and The Alley Cats) and Presenting The Fabulous Ronettes by The Ronettes. It also includes a bonus seventh CD of B-sides, many of which have never been in CD before now – Phil's Flipsides by The Phil Spector Wall Of Sound Orchestra. The box set is beautiful, too – each CD in a LP replica sleeve. Incredible! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
