CD (Item 504294) Pablo/OJC, 1962 — Condition: Used

Two sidelong epic live recordings of Trane from the early 60s, capturing him at the height of his explorations of stretching standards to their limits, but before he really delved into the out side. Side 1 features an almost 20 minute rendition of "Bye Bye Blackbird" and side 2 is nealry as long a reading of "Traneing In", both by the classic quartet with McCoy Tyner, Jimme Garrison and Elvin Jones, recorded in europe in 1962.  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
