A mix of spiraling psychedelia and grittier garagey rock from Chocolate Watch Band! No Way Out has a bit more grit than the more mystical follow up LP, but we wouldn't complain about that – the mix of more tripped out organ and atmospheric touches paired with harder hitting, sweaty r&b and fuzz rock influenced sounds match pretty well in our book! Groovy stuff from the late 60s Cali scene! Titles include "Let's Talk About Girls", "Midnight Hour", "Come On", "Dark Side Of The Mushroom", "Hot Dusty Road", "Gone And Passes By", "Expo 2000" and "Gossamer Wings".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

A definite hard attack from Dust – a set that really lives up to its Frank Frazetta cover image at the best moments – but also has some surprising acoustic elements, too! Dust are way more than just the usual hard rock trio of the early 70s – as they mix in pedal steel and ... LP, Vinyl record album

As great a rock & roll album as there's ever been! It's impossible to describe this record without sounding like a blow hard, but you really can't overstate what these four goony guys from Queens accomplished. 30-odd years of the most visceral pop music concentrated into 2 minute, 3 chord ... Hard riffing from Scotland's Iron Claw – a group who owe plenty to the best early work of Black Sabbath, but also take off nicely in their own direction as well! The guitar work is frenetic, the bass nice and fuzzy, and there's a sense of darkness that really comes through in the vocals too ... LP, Vinyl record album

Landmark British metal from Motorhead– inarguably one of the greatest albums ever in the genre! If there's a flaw to Ace Of Spades, it's that Lemmy & Co.'s signature song – the title track, of course – is so damned amazing, you want to drop the needle on it 10 times in a row ...
