Excellent grooves from the contemporary Spanish underground – and tracks that go way past the standard deep funk and soul we've been hearing from the scene of late! The sounds are definitely funky, but there's some richer currents of Latin jazz, New Orleans rhythms, and other hip touches that really widen up the sound – and make for the sort of deep-grooved compilation we'd normally only hear with vintage work from the 60s and 70s! The package also represents a shift for Lovemonk – who normally never have this much live or classic-styled music in their catalog – our hope that we'll be hearing even more goodies like this from them in the future.
