Not as all-out exotic as some of Les' earlier Capitol albums, but still pretty darn great! The theme here is Carribean exotic, and the rhythms have a little bit more of Cuba and Haiti than they do of primitive Borneo. Les handles them nicely, as always, and contributes some wonderful arrangements to the album. Titles include "Deep Night", "Green Eyes", "Sway", "Out Of This World", and "Adios". (Rainbow label pressing. Cover has some splitting on the spine & seams.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

One of Arthur Lyman's first LPs –- a brilliant set of percussively grooving tracks, modulated at a low tempo, and recorded in the Henry J. Columbia, Late 60s. Near Mint-
Although Jo Basile made some snoozier albums for Audio Fidelity, this one for Columbia's a gem, and has a great groovy jet-set swingin' feel to it. Jo plays accordian and vibes, and he also arranges the whole thing with a nice tight sound. Tracks include versions of "Man & A Woman", ... LP, Vinyl record album

TV's Greatest Detective Hits
Mercury, 1976. Near Mint-
Excellent work from Brit easy bandleader John Gregory – an assortment of 70s police and crime themes, played by a big band with a nice soundtrack-y finish! Nearly all the tunes are uptempo, and the feel of the record is very much in the same vein as Henry Mancini's Cop Show Themes album ... LP, Vinyl record album
