CD (Item 388110) Digitmovies (Italy), 1967 — Condition: New Copy

A lesser known western score (to us, anyway) by Bruno Nicoli – conducted by Ennio Morricone! It's for the obscure 1967 film Gentleman Jo, aka Gentleman Killer – but the score is not nearly as skimpy as the film's reputation! The main title explodes, with large scale vocals that sort of work like a groovier, Italian take on Bonanza – but the rest of the set is small and moody – with all the clicks, hums and dusty tones we love about the genre! CD features 22 tracks, most titles numbered sequences of the film's title. 47 minutes of moody, spaghetti western soundscapes from the masters!  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
