A lesser known western score (to us, anyway) by Bruno Nicoli – conducted by Ennio Morricone! It's for the obscure 1967 film Gentleman Jo, aka Gentleman Killer – but the score is not nearly as skimpy as the film's reputation! The main title explodes, with large scale vocals that sort of work like a groovier, Italian take on Bonanza – but the rest of the set is small and moody – with all the clicks, hums and dusty tones we love about the genre!
