East Coast (RSO)

Add Item to Want List
LP (Item 399405) RSO, 1979 — Condition: Used

A sweet batch of groovers by East Coast – a group known for their club classic "The Rock", but who step out here on a host of great original numbers! There's a bouncy sound here that's got some of the best warmer touches of late disco – but a few cuts even hit a nice rollerskating mode too – skipping along with a strongly rhythmic vibe that we really like a lot. Titles include "The Rock", "Roller Disco", "My Meow", "East Coast Theme", "Meat The Beat", and the real standout "Between You & Me", which has some great soulful vocals. (White label promo. Cover has a promo stamp on back and a bit of marker in one corner.)  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
