Groovy batch of tracks played by a small combo that includes Phil Bodner, Dick Hyman, and Clark Terry – plus Lois Winter on vocals. As the title implies, the tracks are groovy bossa versoins of classics, like material by Ravel, Chopin, Debussy, Brahms, and others. The cuts have a nice romantic swell to them, punctuated nicely by Bodner's tight tenor, and Hyman's lively piano.  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Great funky instrumentals – not really Latin, but given sort of a pop-Latin soul feel by the great Claus Ogerman!
