Last Tango In Paris
LP (Item 46692) United Artists, 1972 — Condition: Used
Listen, forget every cliche you've ever heard about this film, because this soundtrack is amazing! Gato Barbieri knocked himself out for this one, and came up with an insanely wonderful batch of "modern jazz tango" tracks that mix out soloing, pounding bandoneon rhythms, and lush romantic scoring – and the result is a score that still never fails to send chills down our spines. Includes many versions of the "Last Tango" theme, plus the tracks "Girl In Black", "Jeanne", "Why Did She Choose You?", "It's Over", and "Fake Ophelia". (Tan label pressing. Cover has a split spine, some waviness, light staining, and a mark from sticker removal.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
