Beautiful music from Pingarilho – that features both his vocals and acoustic guitar, but which gets even more of its grace from warm keyboards and sweetly jazzy rhythms! The style here starts in bossa, but moves through smoother jazz of the 70s – but always keeps a balance that never gets too slick or too commercial – always just the right sort of space for the open, earnest tones that Pingarilho brings to his music! Leny Andrade guests a bit on the record, and the feel is not too different than the backings used on some of her recent albums – and Paula Faour also plays some keyboards, too.
