We couldn't think of a better title for this one – as every track is a winner! The Moonglows are, to us, doo wop at its best – hanging here between the rough styles of earlier years, and the overproduced work of later ones. The group are working near accapella here – with just a bit of rhythmic backing and guitar – in a style that glides with effortless magic that few other groups, no matter how great, could ever hope to match! Titles include "Ten Commandments Of Love", "In My Diary", "Sincerely", "Blue Velvet", "Penny Arcade", "Over & Over Again", and the sublime "Most Of All". (80s Sugar Hill pressing.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Hard to get better than this for 50s vocal group material – and despite all the other groups on the east coast scene at the time, The Moonglows are still tops with us! Gamble, 1973. Very Good
A classic album from this incredible Philly soul group! The Intruders were one of the first groups to work with the Gamble/Huff team – and their sides for the team from the 60s have an amazingly professional approach to harmony soul, never afraid to hit a good hook or go for a strong image ... Warner, 1971. Very Good- Gatefold
The last album recorded by Charles Wright with the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band – and a set that's even more stretched out and trippy than their other albums! Gone are the tight short cuts of earlier days, and in their place are longer messed-up funky numbers that have more of a jamming ... LP, Vinyl record album

Mirage, 1984. Very Good+
Wonderful work from Ingram – an incredibly talented soul family who'd spent more than enough time woodshedding in earlier years, and emerged to become one of the strongest mainstream acts of the 80s scene!
