Do The Hustle
LP (Item 39315) Realm, 1976 — Condition: Used
Pretty groovy stuff! The album's a disco instruction set – featuring long tracks designed around a basic step, with calls for the dance over the top by some guy with a slightly thuggish New York accent. The backing tracks are pretty darn decent – with a smooth disco sound that's punctuated by a lot of strong instrumental solos – but the New York guy's voice does show up on most of the tracks, so be prepared to hear it throughout the record! Titles include "Latin Hustle", "Rope Hustle", "American Hustle", and "Hustle Cha". (Side 1 has a mark that clicks a bit on track two. Cover has some wear, some staining along parts of the opening, a split bottom seam, and a small split on the spine.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
