Ed Lincoln (1968)
CD (Item 54768) Savoya/Whatmusic (UK), 1968 -- Condition: New Copy
Excellent work from this fab Brazilian organ player! Next to Walter Wanderley, Ed Lincoln was one of Brazil's greatest talents on the Hammond Organ during the 1960s -- and this sparkling LP of samba and bossa groovers is one of his best recordings ever! The album's got a lively jazzy groove all the way through -- featuring Ed on arrangements and organ, heading up a group that includes Durval Ferreira on guitar, Alex Papa on drums, and Orlandivo on percussion. Tunes have a choppy party kind of groove -- and titles include "Sack O Woe", "E Demais", "Zum Zum Zum", "Waldemar", "O Choro Do Bebe", "Cumba Ie", and "Bala Bala Cue". © 1996-2009, Dusty Groove America, Inc. | |||||
