Then & Now
CD (Item 539086) Society Hill/Essential, 2010 — Condition: New Copy
Glenn Leonard takes it back – giving us a bit of "then" his old school approach to ballads and love songs – but also throwing in a bit of "now" in the overall production of the set! The album's a mix of neo soul modes and classic styles – and Leonard really sparkles on the album's mellow groovers – cuts that move just a bit more than the ballads, with a gentle swing that's mighty nice! Butch Ingram produced, and the whole thing's got a sweet modern Ingram groove! Jean Carne guests on three tracks – a remake of "You Know How To Make Me Feel So Good", plus "Are We So Far Apart" and "One Million Miles From The Ground". Other cuts include "Can I", "Date With The Rain", "Can We Talk", "He's A Friend", and "Girl You Need A Change Of Mind".
