Et Tu Flute
LP (Item 6404) Verve, Late 50s/1973 — Condition: Used
Herbie's flute work for Verve was some of his best – and it had a tight Latiny groove that was often missing from some of his later, weaker work. This 2LP set brings together most of his best 50s moments for the label, including a lot of cuts that just don't show up on wax in any other way. Titles include "The Amazon River", "Come On Mule", "Oodles Of Noodles", "Baia", and a nice long version of "I'll Remember April". (White label promo, with a sticker on two of the labels. Cover has a promo sticker and a spot of tape on the spine.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
