A wonderful album – one of the group's best! The album was a "comeback" effort – but it's still got stone Philly production from Norman Harris, with a sound that's right up their with their best Atco sides from the mid 70s. In fact, the harmonies are even better than before, if we do say so ourselves – and the album's proof that sublime harmony soul recordings were still being produced in the 80s! Titles include "The Oscar", "Feelin The Love", "Let There Be Love", "Standin' On the Edge of a Love Affair", "Who Could Ever Leave You", "Land of Make Believe", and "Welcome Back".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Sublime work from Frankie Beverly and Maze – smooth, mellow, and perfectly put together, with a level of care and class that you'd be hard pressed to find in many of the group's contemporaries!
