A wonderful album – one of the group's best! The album was a "comeback" effort – but it's still got stone Philly production from Norman Harris, with a sound that's right up their with their best Atco sides from the mid 70s. In fact, the harmonies are even better than before, if we do say so ourselves – and the album's proof that sublime harmony soul recordings were still being produced in the 80s! Titles include "The Oscar", "Feelin The Love", "Let There Be Love", "Standin' On the Edge of a Love Affair", "Who Could Ever Leave You", "Land of Make Believe", and "Welcome Back".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Keep On Runnin'
Atlantic, 1975. Very Good-

The group's got a few more members than before, but their sound is somehow even leaner – a really tight ... LP, Vinyl record album

Imaginations
20th Century, Mid 70s. Very Good-
An excellent group soul from Chicago – and no wonder, since The Imaginations were previously Brighter Side Of Darknes, a sublime falsetto harmony group who had a huge hit in 1972 with "Love Jones". This record's very much in the vein of that song – but also features a ... LP, Vinyl record album
