One of the crowning moments of the German post-punk scene – and a lovely set of electronics from Pyrolator! The group were quite different than their proggish precursors – in that Pyrolator took the electronics of the Kraftwerk generation, shortened them up a lot, and gave them a rough edge that was halfway down the path towards Throbbing Gristle – but handled with a lot more of a sense of whimsy and tunefulness. The album's a treasure trove of analogue electronic delights – one of those records that was years ahead of its time at the time, immediately lost to time, and now finally finding the time to get rediscovered!
