The first 12" single on Soul Fire – and a real doozy! The track's an extended jazz funk number with some great guitar on the intro, and an expanded horn section that's so big, so mighty, it needed a full 12 inches of wax just to hold it. Horn work is incredible – on a par with the JBs, with all those great little twists and turns on the solos – much more than just mad funking – purely expressive soulful dyn-o-mite!  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
