Beating Steel/Law Breakers
7-inch (Item 611774) Selected Sound/Tramp (Germany), Mid 70s — Condition: New Copy
Not really "beating steel", but a tune that's definitely got a beat right from the start – a mod mix of romping drums and crime-styled guitar, but recorded with a slightly warmer sound library groove too! Horns blast in strongly once the tune gets rolling – and there's an urgent vibe that feels like "Peter Gunn" taken at triple-speed! "Law Breakers" is another nice crime-jazz number – more twangy guitar over these rolling mod piano lines – almost a variation on the theme from the a-side! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
