LP (Item 567268) Unheard-Of, 1980s/1990s/2000s — Condition: New Copy

Idiosyncratic, uncompromising folk from Russell Hoke – dreamlike, eerie and unlike anything else! The record has a quote from Nathaniel Hawthorne, essential addressing the dream logic of Hawthorne's writing – and that relates pretty darn well with Hoke's songs. Another strange, but rewarding self-released efforts from one the more interesting outsider singer-songwriters around. Titles include "Twisted Mountain", "Saturn And The Lads", "Weird Wendy", "Worms In My Brain", "Hillbilly's Lament", "Seduced In Dark Eden", "Vanished Realm" and more. (Very limited. Comes in a hand-assembled package from Russell himself.)  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
