CD (Item 448842) Carosello/Fin De Siecle (Sweden), 1974 -- Condition: New Copy

A great little score for an obscure 70s Italian crime film -- one that's penned with a much greater range of styles than you might expect! Although the setting is one of crime and action, the music here often has some great warmer touches too -- a blend of erotics that slide in between some of the more upbeat and driving numbers, which veer nicely into funky cop show rhythms! Instrumentation includes some keyboard bits that ring out nicely, and other instrumentation that's often recorded with odd sonic touches -- so that they're slightly abstracted, and create an even wilder sound! The full soundtrack has never been collected before -- and apart from 2 tracks that once appeared on a single in the 70s, this is the first-ever release of the work. Edda Dell'Orso sings wordless vocals on a few numbers -- and the CD features 17 tracks in all!  © 1996-2009, Dusty Groove America, Inc.
