An incredible album of Eastern instrumentation and funky rock breaks – served up as one of the headiest studio sessions to come from the LA scene of the late 60s! The Ceylieb People work in the same territory as Devil's Anvil or The Orient Express – a blend of fuzzy psychedelia with trippier influences from India and other points east – a sound that has the group mixing heavy drums and jamming guitar with lots of sitar, tamboura, and rootsy percussion! Songs are all instrumentals, and played with a really mind-expanding sort of groove – jamming throughout, and very sensitive to little shifts in sound and rhythm.
