LP (Item 481000) Europa/Heavenly Sweetness (France), 1978/1982 — Condition: New Copy
An excellent album from Cherry – recorded in Paris in 1978, and featuring duets with tabla player Latif Khan. The sound is spare an unencumbered by any additional backing or electronics – but there's an overall groove to the record that's really really nice. Tablas set the rhythm, and Cherry solos over the top on trumpet, bamboo flute, keyboards, and gong.
