After a long and successful stint at Verve/MGM, Jimmy retreated to the underground during the mid/late 70s, where he put out a few hard to find releases on smaller labels. This is one of them, issued on his own tiny Mojo label – and it features a relatively straight soul jazz organ set, played with a trio that includes Kenny Burrell on guitar and Grady Tate on drums. Titles include "Yesterday I Heard The Rain", "Well, You Needn't", "Reunion", "Second Coming", and "It's All Right With Me". (Cover has some wear and a cut corner.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
