A second serving of java from the Indonesian scene of the 60s – a surprisingly progressive place back in the day, filled with a great range of groups making some really rocking music! The tunes here draw heavily from the American garage sound of the time – lots of fuzzy guitars, muddy drums, and weird keyboard lines – but often produced in these strange sort of ways that give lots of the tunes an offbeat twist – one that's further augmented by the non-English lyrics, and the cool vocalizations as well – which often creates this spacey vibe on some of the best numbers!
