A pretty basic soundtrack, but with some nice moments by Ortolani – done around the time he recorded the more famous soundtrack for Mondo Cane. The album does have some nice tunes with weird jazzy instrumentation – kind of nightclubby numbers with a mix of jazz and loungey styles – and solos on sax or piano, with some occasional bongo lines - almost like jazzy moments in Nino Rota scores. Titles include "He Or She?", "The Rites Of Sex", "Twist 84", "The Glutton", "The Steam Bath", "At The Shrine", and "The Debutantes". (Sealed 60s pressing. Cover has a cutout mark.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Not as famous as other Henry Mancini soundtracks of the 60s – but a gem through and through, and a record that really shows the maturing talents of the maestro!
