CD (Item 430506) P&P, 1970s/Early 80s -- Condition: New Copy

The first collection ever to track the genius of Patrick Adams, the legendary producer who had a huge influence on 70s soul -- starting with group harmony in the early part of the decade, and running through classic club in the latter half! These days, Adams is best-remembered as one half of the legendary P&P Records team (Peter Brown was the other half) -- but this set starts before his P&P years, and begins with a range of great singles from the early 70s that Adams' warm touch on harmony vocals -- then moves into a batch of even hipper uptempo disco tracks! The package pulls together work from a wide number of labels, all to showcase Adams' even wider range of talents -- and it's great to have all this work together in one collection! 2CD version features 18 tracks in all -- titles that include "I Need Love" by Daybreak, "Surrender" by Black Ivory, "I Just Want To Spend My Life With You" by Pete Warner, "You Believed In Me (parts 1 & 2)" by Executive Suite, "Kings & Queens" by Patrick Adams Institute, "I Need Love" by Daybreak, "It Ain't No Big Thing" by Donna McGhee, "My Baby's Got ESP" by 4 Below Zero, "Dance Dance Dance" by Marta Acuna, "In The Bush" by Musique, "Weekend" by Phreek, "Atmosphere Strut (1979 rmx)" by Cloud One, "Lady Bug" by Bumblee Unlimited, "Flying High" by Cloud One, "Everybody Wants My Body (rmx)" by Sandra Herring, and "Come & Make Me Feel Good" by Shades Of Love with Katherine Joyce.  © 1996-2010, Dusty Groove America, Inc.
