new Showbiz & AGRunaway Slave ... LP
Payday, 1992. New Copy 2LP (reissue).... $11.99 Temporarily Out Of Stock
The still-imitated classic first LP from the last of the days when major labels were still putting out dope underground MC's, and while underground MC's aim was still to move the crowd (and before P-LaMox put Payday's cheddar behind WC). With "Soul Clap", "Bounce Ta This", "Represent", "Catchin Wreck", "Fat Pockets" and 8 more. And this one time you should definitely go for the reissue instead of the original.

new Diamond & The Psychotic Neurotics — Stunts, Blunts, & Hip Hop ... LP
Mercury, 1992. New Copy 2LP (reissue).... $14.99 Temporarily Out Of Stock
Why is this album sooooo tough to find in an original pressing? Along with Showbiz and AG's first EP, and Lord Finesse's first couple releases, this album introduced the world to one of the longest running and most solid crews in hip hop, DITC. Classic and oft-imitated Diamond beats that laid the blueprint for so much hip hop to follow, including "Sally's Got A One Track Mind," "Best Kept Secret," "I'm Outta Here," "Check One, Two", "F*ck What U Heard", "Freestyle (Yo That's The Sh..)" and more! 2 LPs, with loads of great guest stars, like Lakim Shabazz, Big L, Fat Joe, and Brand Nubian.

Sadat X — Hang Em High (wildness version, inst)/Stages & Lights (LP, inst) ... 12-inch
Loud, 1996. Very Good+ .... $2.99
Unlike too many hip hop groups that break up, only to have each individual MC release a lot of weak material, Sadat X stays on track with production by Showbiz and Diamond D. If you ever thought that Brand Nubian was all about Grand Puba, Sadat's verses on these two overlooked cuts will remind you how crucial Sadat was/is to the Brand Nubian sound.
